Yesterday we brought you this amazingly wrong video that shatters every preconception you ever had about the origins of Courtney Stodden's boobs… but is it all a big lie?
'Expert' CelebrityFIX readers say the 17-year-old is totally fibbing. Plus, they reckon the video contains evidence that Courtney is way older than 17... and the scan images aren't even of her breast tissue, they're from her liver!
The freaky child bride underwent an ultrasound from TV's Dr Drew yesterday to 'prove' that her totally fake-looking boobs are, in fact, a 'gift from God'.
Despite spotting an unexplained "circular object" on the scan, the docs determined that Courtney's rack was all real.
We decided to launch our own investigation by asking FIX readers who work in the medical industry to give us their own expert opinions on the ultrasound images.
Several experts responded (and by experts, we mean people who stated their name as 'doctor' or 'nurse' when leaving a comment on our blog. We're not A Current Affair or anything!) Here's what they had to say:
This is not a breast ultrasound

With many years experience performing ultrasound i can tell you this is a scan of a liver not a breast ultrasound.
Courtney Stodden ultrasound a con

As a sonographer (ultrasound technologist) of 29years the images show the liver not a breast the telling point is the heart beating on the left side of the image. If it was breast it would be at the bottom. The other thing is breasts are not examined with a convex probe only a linear probe. Also the "black holes" in the images are portal veins. This is a real con.

As a veteran Theatre Nurse of over 24 years, The ultrasound shows a half round more than likely saline implant under the muscle of her chest. This 'girl' is certainly not 17 as she claims, if you look at the breast mass, this is not the mass of a teen as it is far too dense. This 'girl' is more likely in her mid to late twenties and is certainly not the age claimed. Surely theses so called experts on the show know this and are just playing up to the hype or are being paid to be quiet. ANY Plastic surgeon could confirm this in 20 seconds or less

Ive worked for Breastscreen Australia for the last two years as a nurse (and previous at Melbournes Womens hospital). The other poster is correct - her breast tissue is too dense for a teenager, shes in her mid twenties at least. Secondly, that round mass is NOT a bone. There are no round bones in that area - anyone can look that up on an anatomy chart. Thirdly, theres no evidence that ultrasound is not pre-recorded - it could be of someone else. and Lastly, the dark round patch towards the bottom looks EXACTLY like a breast implant!! (or cancer). Anyone can also look this up on google images. Breast implants show up as dark round spots (or solid white)... normal breast tissue does not (it looks veiny white with black background)
Thanks for the feedback, guys. It's nice to know we have such clever readers!
