Quite a bit has changed since Nelly wore a band aid and rapped about Kelly Rowland in 'Dilemma' in 2002.
Twelve years after the hit tune's release, 40-year-old Nelly is now a father of four, currently raising his late sister's two kids after she passed away in 2005.
Despite taking full responsibility of his family, Nelly says he's still plagued by the "rapper stereotype" that looms over him... which is why he's "urgently" trying to break it down with the help of his new reality show Nellyville. Curious? Watch the interview up top to hear all about it.
After releasing his seventh studio album M.O. in 2013, Nelly will return to Oz for his first ever arena tour alongside Lupe Fiasco and B.o.B in 2015.
"We're coming to Australia to have a lot of fun," he told TheFIX. "This area of the world has always supported me from the very beginning and 15 years later and they're still supporting me. We expect a lot of energy from the crowd as usual and we feed off of that."
