Don't believe the reports that Oprah and Rosie O'Donnell are at each other's throats about the latter's upcoming show on the former's pay TV network — Oprah herself says they aren't true.
So the story is that the daytime TV queens don't see "eye to eye" on the tone of Rosie's new talk show: Rosie supposedly wants it to be "more political and a place where she can express her liberal views", but Oprah sees it as a mere "friendly daytime talk show".
Meanwhile Oprah apparently wants to hire a trusted executive producer to oversee Rosie's wackiness, but Rosie wants to pick her own producer because she reckons Oprah's choice will be a "spy".
If the rumours sound pretty fanciful, it's probably because they are: Oprah took to Twitter to announce "There's no feud between Rosie and me."
"We haven't even had a discussion about her new show," Oprah said. "I get so sick of people trying to create fights and feuds when women are in business. Don't buy into it."
