This is not made up, we promise: Kathy Bates is going to play the ghost of Charlie Sheen's character in an upcoming episode of Two and a Half Men. No, really!
You'll recall that Charlie's Men character — also called Charlie — was abruptly killed off between the sitcom's eighth and ninth seasons after the actor's real-life "personal troubles" got him fired. He was replaced by Ashton Kutcher.
It's not like Charlie would ever consent to return to Two and a Half Men, which he's repeatedly dissed in recent months — so therefore it makes perfect logical sense to replace him with Kathy Bates and there is nothing nutso about this at all.
In the episode, slated to air in the States on April 30, Alan (Jon Cryer) suffers a minor heart attack and is rushed to hospital, where he encounters the ghost of his dead brother (who is, once again, to be played by Kathy Bates.)
