Britney Spears can't stay put on the set of her new TV show The X Factor because she has "the attention span of a 10-year-old", a new report claims.
While the "Britney storms off set" headlines keep on surfacing, RadarOnline.com claims to know the real reason why the singer-turned-reality judge keeps wandering off: She has ADHD.
"Brit has Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and can't take medication for it," the website claims, explaining that the ADHD drugs Adderall or Ritalin would interfere with her other medication.
A source tells the site, "Look, Britney basically has the attention span of a 10-year-old at times."
"[Producer] Simon [Cowell] was made fully aware of Britney's medical history before the contract was signed, so this certainly isn't a big surprise that she needs to take breaks during the audition process.
"Of course, it's rather disconcerting for people that see her do it for the first time but it's truly nothing to be alarmed at."
The program is still in the audition stage at the moment. It should be interesting to see if she'll wander off during the live shows as well!
