Australian actress Sophie Monk will appear as one of the 24 celebrity "dates" on Fox network’s new reality game show The Choice.
Based on the blind auditions of The Voice, The Choice will set up potential singles on dates with eligible celebrities.
To give it an extra 'spin', judges will be using spinning chairs that seem to be The Voice's trademark.
Sophie will join a list of "stars" including Carmen Electra, Joe Jonas, Rob Kardashian as well as Jersey Shore’s Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino and Pauly D.
Like other classic blind dating shows (remember Perfect Match?), the contestants will describe their characteristics to the celebrities while their backs are turned. If one of the judges likes what he or she hears, they'll pull their "love handle", spinning the chair around to face them. There also promises to be a speed dating round as well.
Sophie split with fiancé Jimmy Esebag in March 2011 and has since appeared in a steamy commercial for in-grown hair removal with Kim Kardashian's ex Ray J.
Maybe Sophie's hoping being seen with a civilian will be a step up in her Hollywood career?
