Last night, viewers evicted 25-year-old vet Ray Baxter, reuniting him with Big Brother host and potential love interest Sonia Kruger.
Ray told housemates that he and Sonia had shared "sparks" onstage before he entered the house, and when we heard that he, Sonia and producers went out for drinks after his eviction, we had to ask if he had a chance to capitalise on all that... chemistry.
"Look, it was every young man's dream inside that house that something would happen in the outside world with Sonia, but yeah, the reality of it is, she's probably way, way, way out of anyone's league," Ray told TheFIX exclusively.
If Sonia did hear what he said about her in the house, it certainly didn’t come up over the course of the night.
"She kept it quiet, hey! She must be a bit frigid on the inside," Ray said.
"I was scared she may have heard something like that, so I kept mentioning to her how all the guys in the house were obsessed with her, just to take the spotlight off me."
Things may not have panned out with Sonia, but life on the outside won't be too bad for Ray. He's been reunited with his other love: chocolate milk.
"I get a kick out of treating an animal, and I do that every 15 minutes, so I was missing out on those kicks [in the house], and I guess they just built up and then I'd get my chocolate milk in a challenge and I would absolutely lose it," Ray said.
"Honestly, chocolate milk is what gets me through the day. I have a stressful, hard-working day, and then I go home and I sit down on the couch and it’s like a beer to me. Without that, I knew I was going to struggle, and I did, I struggled. I was losing my mind without my sugar hit of the day. The days I got it, I had great days, the days I didn’t were quite sad."
