Former Happy Days child star Erin Moran, who has reportedly been homeless since September, may have some happy days ahead.
Once one half of much-loved TV couple Joanie and Chachi (Scott Baio) on the hit '70s sitcom, the 51-year-old actress is getting a helping hand from former co-star Henry Winkler, aka The Fonz.
The 66-year-old actor, currently filming his role as dodgy lawyer Barry Zuckerkorn on the long-awaited fourth season of Arrested Development, is looking to revive Erin's career by bringing her onto the show, the National Enquirer reports.
"Henry is absolutely shattered over what's become of Erin," a friend of Henry's told the US tabloid.
"He desperately wants to help get back on her feet."
Erin and husband Steve Fleischmann made news recently when they were evicted from their California home. They were subsequently kicked out of Erin's elderly mother-in-law's Indiana trailer park for "partying and belligerent behaviour", according to the National Enquirer.
The pair have since been living in motels, Erin photographed getting drunk and posing on cars in a motel carpark.
Erin's former on-screen sweetheart Scott Baio, who also stars with Henry on
, has a different take on Erin's downward spiral.

"I don't know what her situation is,” the 52-year-old actor told Fox411.
"I have a job to do, I have a wife and child to take care of. So I don't pay attention to things that I don't know anything about. I've got my own situation to deal with."
Scott is currently writing a tell-all book about his battle with sex addiction, and the many famous exes he's bedded (Brooke Shields, Pamela Anderson and Heather Locklear among the alleged conquests).
