The Block: All Stars landed on our TV screens last night in true block-tastic style (okay, we'll lay off the "block" puns as much as we can).
Returning to Bondi, where the original 2003 series took place, the seventh series has brought back four renovation-obsessed teams from previous series; Phil and Amity from 2003, tradie mates Mark and Duncan from 2010, newlyweds Josh and Jenna from 2011, and 2012 runners-up Dan and Dani.
The twist this time? The couples are renovating heritage-listed houses not the best for super-modern renovators Dani and Dan!
Amid all the reno drama, we've got to highlight Josh's no-holds-barred admission about needing to, er, do a number two. Watch to the end of the above video if you feel like a cringe!
Josh tweeted as the show aired, "Knew it. Should [of] pooed back there #woops. #theblock". Way too much info, dude!
So who are the favourites so far? Block-heads still love Josh and Jenna UniBet has put them at $2.50 as the favourites to win based on previous room challenges.
Dan and Dani solidified their status as the "love-to-hate" couple this season. The official Block Facebook page exploded with comments about the bickering pair, one fan calling Dani a "witch". Another fan took a different tack and said "everyone loves to hate them. Design and styling they have it. And their personalities add spice".
Tradies Mark and Duncan got the most "likes" of all the couples in a series of posts welcoming each team back (they scored 980 likes versus Josh and Jenna's 946). Posts about Phil and Amity hit 763 likes, while Dan and Dani scored a dismal 560.
Ratings wise, the premiere attracted 959,000 viewers, in the shadow of My Kitchen Rules, which reached a huge 3.2 million viewers (2.2 million in the national cities alone).
