Neighbours is getting some fresh meat.
While characters Brad and Terese Willis are new to the show, the actors who play them might look a little familiar.
Both starred on the rival, higher-rating soap Home and Away.
Trading the beach for the 'burbs, Kip Gamblin and Rebekah Elmaloglou are the newest additions to the famous suburb of Erinsborough in what Network Ten is pushing as a more family-orientated program.
The two actors have been cast as a married couple with a teenage son and daughter. You'll remember Rebekah as Sophie Simpson on Home and Away from 1989 to 1993, while Kip played Scott Hunter from 2003 to 2005.
Neighbours has a number of old stars returning for the new season.
Lou Carpenter's (Tom Oliver) daughter Lauren Turner (now played by Kate Kendall) will also be returning, with her new family in tow.
Carla Bonner will be reprising her role as Steph Scully, and we will also see the welcome return of Sarah Beaumont (Nicola Charles) and Detective Mark Brennan (Scott McGregor).
"We are moving our focus back to family units on Ramsay Street and the dynamics this offers in terms of storylines is fantastic," said Richard Jasek, Neighbours executive producer.
"As viewers will find out shortly, the Turners are a family of secrets, and the unique backstory of the Willis family is just as compelling."
Filming on Ramsay Street will begin in two weeks and the new characters will debut on our TV screens in early June.
