WARNING! This blog contains nudity. Alexander-Skarsgard-type-full-frontal-nudity. Oh, and spoilers. But more nudity.
The chiselled 6'4" Swedish actor, who plays resident bad-boy vamp Eric Northman on hit series True Blood, literally lit up the screen in the Season 6 finale last night when his character burst into flames while completely in the buff. Try to contain the drool when you watch the clip above…
And although a few choice flames helped to shield his bits and pieces, the 36-year-old actor still showed off a substantial portion of his erm, well, yeah…that, as he leapt off the lounge chair and dashed toward the camera.
Whilst that was certainly a treat for most, the actor's full monty may have been a parting gift for True Blood fans, with the scene ending with what appears to be Eric meeting his "true death."
The series finale set the Twittersphere in a spin, spurring several trending topics and conversations about Skarsgard's erm big reveal, and the show's even bigger cliffhanger.
One fan tweeted "I've just seen Alexander Skarsgard's penis. I think my life is now complete," whilst Parks and Recreation star and the queen of Twitter live tweeting Retta, said, "Got a glimpse of the Northman piece and I'm hoping that scene really WAS shot on arctic tundra #ShrinkageOrShrimpage."
Well, when you’re getting your goods out on a hit show about sex-crazed vampires everyone’s going to have an opinion.
Lucky for Alexander (and for us,) he doesn’t care because he doesn’t mind getting naked. "I think in general people are more comfortable with nudity in Sweden," says the actor. "I think I was 14 the first time I saw my dad wearing pants."
Time to move to Sweden?
