One thing we noticed on The Voice this season: families of the artists got really, really emotional when coaches turned for their loved ones! From stage-invading mothers to hysterical daughters, these are our favourite reactions from the blind auditions…
1. Loudest Stage Mother
Brandon Duff warned us before he sang that his mum was the ultimate stage mother. And boy was he right! Her deafening reaction when Ricky Martin turned his chair was only made better when she told Brandon's sister to "shhh". Erm…pot, kettle anyone?
2. Best Supporting Host
Frank Lakoudis' proud Greek family crowded into the room backstage...and somehow recruited host Darren McMullen to be part of their cheer squad. When Frank got three chairs to turn, Darren was more excited than Frank's actual relatives!
3. Most Suprising Stage Invasion
Isaac McGovern's mum was brutally honest about her love for Ricky Martin before her 19-year-old son performed. So when all four coaches turned, she rushed onto the stage to help Isaac make his decision. He ended up going with Joel Madden…wonder if his Mum is talking to him yet?
4. Best Daughters Ever
Harry Healy's daughters gave us shocked squeals, teary breakdowns and contagious excitement. And when their dad (and brand new Team Joel member!) came backstage, they put on Harry Healy shirts to support him. Aww!
5. And…The Care Factor Zero Award
The most unenthusiastic reaction of the blind auditions came from Candice Skjonnemand's two kids. They tried to be supportive but, erm, fell asleep instead! Not even their mum getting three chairs to turn could wake them from their slumber. Ah, to be young!
