Lady Gaga has set another record after scoring 13 nominations at the MTV Video Music Awards the most ever for any artist in a single year.
The controversial singer released a statement, thanking her fans.
"I'm so honored for all the little monsters and self-professed freaks of the universe, to have more VMA nominations in a single year than any artist in MTV history. Ironically, I'm even more proud it's an unlucky number: 13."
Gaga's nominations include Best Choreography and Best Collaboration. Her hits 'Bad Romance' and 'Telephone' are up for Video of the Year.
Eminem earned the most nominations for a male artist, with eight. Justin Bieber, Ke$ha, B.o.B, Pink, Katy Perry and Usher also scored nods.
The MTV VMAs will be held on Monday, September 13 (Australian time).
