The Rolling Stones recently celebrated 50 years since their first gig together. A young Mick Jagger, Brian Jones, Keith Richards, Ian Stewart and Dick Taylor performed on rented instruments playing old school rhythm and blues music at the Marquee Jazz Club way back in 1962.
"My parents were extremely disapproving of it all," Mick told Rolling Stone, "because it was just not done."
"It was for very low-class people remember. Rock 'n' roll singers weren't educated people."
The band celebrated their 50th Anniversary by attending a photo exhibition documenting their career in London.
What the photos may not reveal are Mick's rather extensive sexual exploits.
Biographer Chris Andersen alleges Mick slept with over 4,000 people in the book Mick: The Wild Life and Mad Genius of Jagger.
"Mick Jagger has slept with 4,000 women over the course of his life, and in retrospect, I think that might be kind of a low figure," the author told ExtraTV.
A few famous names Mick allegedly cavorted with include Carla Bruni, Uma Thurman, Farrah Fawcett, Carly Simon and even David Bowie.
"Mick himself said, at one point, 'everyone knows that everyone is basically bisexual,'" the author claims.Bowie and Mick were often snapped together without their wives, attended events together and, according to the book, once got caught in bed together by David's first wife Angie.
"Angie 'felt absolutely dead certain that they'd been screwing'," Chris wrote, quoting David's ex.
"'It was so obvious, in fact; that I never even considered the possibility that they hadn't been screwing'."
