Comedian Jerry Seinfeld is bracing to unleash his first rap album. Yeah, that's a thing. The Seinfeld namesake is collaborating with hip hop artist Wale, himself a massive fan of the ‘90s comedy series.
Wale released a hip-hop concept album inspired by the classic TV show called The Mixtape About Nothing. Now the pair are in the process of laying down tracks in a Philadelphia recording studio.
Jerry broke the news on YouTube in a video posted by DJ Omega.
"He wanted me to do something with him. I didn’t understand it, but he did," he admitted. "[Jerry's wife Jessica]'s into him, he’s into me, and I didn’t know about the whole thing."
Jerry has been mostly laying low after his Seinfeld departure, playing a few comedy tours. Could a career in rap mark his comeback?
