Watch: Crazy 'foot-juggling' stunts in Cirque Du Soleil's latest show

The supreme physical performance art of Cirque Du Soleil has been entertaining fans worldwide for almost 30 years. Sydney fans lapped up the new show OVO, and now the rest of Australia is getting the chance to see the Canadian "human circus" reimagined once again.

OVO, which takes its name from the Portuguese word for "egg", takes a page out of Pixar's A Bug's Life. The big-top production transforms the stage into an incredible oversized jungle teeming with human insects. Performers juggle oversized food like corn cobs and kiwi fruit, as well as scale giant spider webs and rock walls.

The stunts, like the incredible ones in the video above, are all inspired by the insect world, drawing movement and colour from their bug counterparts.

The finest circus in the world, Cirque Du Soleil, is returning to Australia with OVO.

The acts include a six-performer trapeze act, vertical wall climbing, incredible feats of strength, perfect balance, timing and flawless choreography.

This isn't the first time Cirque Du Soleil has drawn from the natural world, of course. The troupe's other major worldwide tours, including Dralion, Varekai, Kooza and Totem all centre on the stunning natural world.

OVO is currently in Melbourne until March 24, before it opens in Perth on April 14. To book tickets, go to premiere.ticketek.com.au.For more info about Cirque du Soleil, visit the official site.
