Michael Conner Humphries was eight years old when he played a young Tom Hanks in the 1994 film Forrest Gump.
Hanks patterned his accent on the young lad's own thick Southern drawl – yep, this kid actually spoke like Forrest Gump.
So where is he now?
Michael joined the US Army when he grew up - just like Forrest (only he didn't get sent to the 'Nam)!
He's still doing the odd acting job though, and he recently appeared in the WWII film Pathfinders: In the Company of Strangers.
