Emma told The Independent: "I had journalists asking me if this meant I was coming out, if I was a lesbian now."[It] did make me realise how subjective everyone's opinion is. Some people were crazy for it and some people just thought I'd lost my [mind]."
Emma made the decision to chop off her locks after she finished filming all eight Harry Potter films, and last year received an official accolade for the 'do, with Wall Street Journal naming it one of 2011's most influential hairstyles.
Emma's got the long 'do back again, which is just as awesome, but we certainly hope it wasn't because she took offense to some silly, judgmental comments.
