Nicole Kidman has gushed about seeing her “family” while shooting her latest film, making no mention of her children with ex-husband Tom Cruise.
Nicole is currently living in Nice to film Grace of Monaco a biopic based on the life of actress-turned-princess, Grace Kelly.
She told DuJour magazine: "My two daughters are with me, Sunday Rose, who's four, and Faith Margaret, who's two."
Nicole strangely makes no mention of her eldest daughter, Isabella, who she adopted with Tom during their marriage.
"My mother is about to fly in from Australia to babysit,” she continued. “Then Keith will be arriving ... My family is with me. My family," she emphasised. No mention of her son Connor Cruise then, either.
Much has been said of Nicole’s strained relationship with her eldest children with Nic once complaining that Connor and Isabella now address her by her first name.
"My kids don't call me mommy, they don't even call me mom,” she said in 2007. “They call me Nicole, which I hate and tell them off for it."
Nicole also talked to DuJour about the breakdown of her marriage to Tom eleven years ago, saying his decision to end their marriage came as a “shock”.
"I thought our life together was perfect." She said. "It took me a very long time to heal. It was a shock to my system."
Nicole was only 23 years old when she married Tom.
"I would have gone to the ends of the earth for him,” she said. “I was totally smitten I fell madly passionately in love."
But now, at 45, Nicole admits, "I was impulsive and naive."
