I guess after more than 30 years on screens and countless interviews, you'd be pretty tired of the same old questions. Bruce Willis, in the UK to promote the fifth Die Hard flick, A Good Day to Die Hard, mumbled absent-mindedly through a talk show interview, sparking a viewer backlash. Watch the video above for deadpan Bruce!
While Alex Jones and Matt Baker, the hosts of BBC's One Show, tried their best to prompt some kind of intelligible answers from the action movie veteran, 57-year-old Bruce managed to trail off in response to each of their questions. Bizarre.
When the camera cuts to the in-studio audience, the viewers are visibly confused and displeased.According to The Sun, viewers later vented on Twitter, describing Bruce as "dead awkward", "uncomfortable" and "an ignorant, couldn't-care-less man".
The hosts did manage to glean one piece of information out of the star, with Bruce confirming that Die Hard 6 is definitely happening. Hopefully Bruce is more engaging in the upcoming Die Hard films than he is here.
Was Bruce under the influence? Or was he so mind-numbingly bored by questions that he refused to play along? Once thing's for certain: that interview certainly died hard.
Bruce fans, check out the trailer below – it's kinda hilarious.
