She's well-known as the hardest partying celebrity in Hollywood but Lindsay Lohan claims she has only occasionally taken cocaine.
Yep, the "Mean Girls" actress, a regular on the LA party scene, even claims that rehab is "pointless" and she doesn't even drink that much.
Speaking to Piers Morgan in an interview conducted before she checked into the Betty Ford clinic this weekend, the troubled 26-year-old opened up about how her problems with substance abuse began.
"Everyone thinks I've done [cocaine] so many times, but I've only done it maybe four or five times in my life. I don't like it. It reminds me of my dad” Lindsay has revealed in an interview published in the Mail On Sunday.
"I took it four times in a period from about the age of 20 to 23, and I got caught twice. I've never taken heroin either, never injected myself with anything, never done LSD. Those things all scare me."
Admitting to the drugs that she has taken, Lindsay said: "Pot, obviously. And ecstasy. I liked that better than the others. I've never been a huge drinker. I've never woken up in the morning and had a drink. I think my two DUIs were totally irresponsible - a stupid mistake."
Despite the actress checking into rehab on the weekend for a 90-day stint, she also told Piers that rehab treatment isn't what she needs.
"I've never been a junkie, and never will be," she explains. "I just like going out late to clubs with friends and listening to music. Always have done. It's not that unusual for girls of 26.
"I've been court-ordered to do it six times. I could write the book on rehab. Constantly sending me to rehab is pointless. The first few times I was court-ordered to rehab it was like a joke, like killing time. I think there are other things I could do that would benefit me more."
On the weekend, Lindsay's dad Michael revealed the interview had been orchestered by Lindsay's mum Dinah.
“It was more like an interview with Dina. She (Lindsay) didn’t mean any of it. I think by now we all know that Dina puts her and my other kids up to it,” Michael told Radar.online.
The plot thickens.
